Restorative Justice Community Group Conference

A Framework of Healing, Conflict Transformation
& Collective Decision Making

What is restorative Justice?

Restorative justice is a way for people to transform conflict and repair harm without relying on punishment. By fostering healthy relationships, restorative justice helps individuals and communities move toward healing and understanding rather than adding additional harm. While we recognize that adaptations may be necessary to suit cultural and budgetary contexts, discernment is critical. It is important to distinguish between discomfort that is unworkable and discomfort that naturally arises during change or conflict transformation.
